Impressions of Nature in Switzerland: The photo artist Liliane Eberle supplies pictures for the biggest cruise liner in the world.

The Oasis of the Seas, the largest cruise ship in the world, begins its maiden voyage through the Caribbean Sea on December 1, 2009 in Fort Lauderdale (USA). On board are a dozen pictures taken by the Swiss photo artist Liliane Eberle, some of them with a width of up to six meters. The artwork, all with subjects of natural impressions, is part of the décor of the main decks.

On the most important decks of the 16 passenger decks are large-sized pictures of the photo artist Liliane Eberle, who lives in St. Gallen/Switzerland. Amongst the subjects you will find impressions of the world of plants, such as Liliane Eberle has already exposed in her series Forms of Desire in the Dotfiftyone Gallery in Miami. But on board the Oasis of the Seas you will also find sections of two performance-series, showing impressions of nature in Eastern Switzerland during the different seasons.

"With my pictures I want to share visions from the realm of fantasy", explains the artist Liliane Eberle, referring to her pictures on board. "I am very happy to present artwork to such a large audience."

In 2010, Liliane Eberle will be present for some time on board the Oasis of the Seas as artist in residence.
