Bahamas

The Bahamas consist of more than 700 islands and more than 2,400 coral reefs, the so-called Cays. Often two islands, or Cays, are merely separated by an estuary with a depth of only a few centimetres. The Bahamas range from the southeast coast of the USA along the northeast coast of Cuba to the northwest coast of the Turks and Caicos Islands. The Bahamas were the second home of our family for more than 15 years. The country, the wonderful nature and the life with the inhabitants of the Bahamas have influenced us and we have become a part of them.
