Forms of Desire

Touching, merging, giving and receiving are what the pictures talk about. Things appear, accompanying Eros: attraction, warmth, complacency.

The pictures are all from the world of nature. Yet the imagination of the observer recognizes symbols of human life. Entwinements of the body are revealed, Cupid’s arrow and the willingness to open up.

Viewing any details, hidden things, one realizes that there are surprising similarities between the different spheres. The play of shapes emerges, pointing to a separation into two sexes and, simultaneously, the desire for a common newness.
